Quotidian Bodies I
Selected Works 2018 – 2023
Quotidian Bodies: A Fine art nude photography project that seeks to celebrate the diversity and form of the body.
To use photography to find the beauty on the surface of us all. The project seeks to democratically embrace bodies of any gender, normative AND fluid, any sexuality, any ethnicity, any size, any shape, abled, disabled, amputees, anyone baring the scars of life, naturists, eccentrics, women that embrace their body hair, free spirits, witches, people transformed by surgery, cosmetic or medical, and from a wide spectrum of ages.
No casting is made during the production of the art works, the studio door is open to all. Each folio of images is a visual dialogue with the individual sitter to make an artwork out of their bodies and give them the opportunity to see their bodies in a profoundly different and positive way.
All works are anonymous and identities are only revealed at the sitters request.
If you would like to take part in the project, I would love to here from you!
All shoots take place in Brighton, on the south coast of the UK.
